In third grade, many activities are completed as a class, in a small group, or with partners. The majority of these papers will be sent home in the Wednesday folder with a check mark or a smiley face indicating that they were checked for completion but not graded.
Papers that are sent home in the Wednesday folder with a number grade were recorded as a grade in the gradebook.
90-100% = A
80-89% = B
70-79% = C
60-69% = D
Below 60 = F
*As a general rule, I do not put less than a 50 in the gradebook for any assignment. I will put the actual score on the graded paper that comes home to you, but it will be recorded as a 50 in the gradebook.
