Accelerated Reader
Our students participate in a school-wide reading program called Accelerated Reader, or AR. Students read books and take online comprehension tests on what they read. Each passing AR test will allow the students to earn a certain number of points. Students accumulate these points throughout the year. Each nine weeks students may spend their points at the AR store.

The Fifth Grade goal is 100 AR points by the end of the year.
AR quizzes may not be taken at home.
Students may use morning work time, early finisher time, and other given time throughout the week to take tests.
